People’s Life Party changes its name in both Diet houses

 The People’s Life Party, a parliamentary group in the House of Councillors, informed the Upper House Secretariat on Jan. 14 that Taro Yamamoto, formerly an independent lawmaker, has joined the group, and that the group’s name has been changed to the “People’s Life Party with Taro Yamamoto and His Friends.” The People’s Life Party (membership of two) in the House of Representatives also notified the Lower House Secretariat of the change of its name.
