(Yomiuri: March 14, 2015 – p. 4)
The bill for the budget for fiscal 2015 cleared the House of Representatives on March 13 and will be deliberated at the House of Councillors Budget Committee, starting on the 16th. Opposition parties intend to pursue political donation scandals involving cabinet ministers during deliberations at the Upper House as well. Hoping for the passage of key bills including the bill revising the Manpower Dispatching Business Law and security legislation after the passage of the FY2015 budget, the ruling parties are now making arrangements on a plan to extend the term of the current Diet session until June 24.
