The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on July 14 began accepting applications for a program to award businesses that are active in making use of human resources regardless of gender and nationality.
The “Diversity Management Selection 100” is designed to select and award about 100 blue-chip firms that embrace diversity in personnel over a period of three years. In fiscal 2015, the program will focus on selecting 30-40 firms that enhance their corporate value by making better use of female and foreign human resources. (Abridged)
