8 billion yen provided to political parties in government subsidies

 Of the total government subsidies (32.14 billion yen) for fiscal 2015, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications provided a total of 8 billion yen in the second tranche of the subsidies to nine political parties. The Japanese Communist Party did not receive subsidies because it did not apply for them. The ministry extends subsidies four times a year. The amounts of subsidies provided to the political parties were as follows:
