The Liberal Democratic Party’s TPP headquarters (chaired by Policy Research Council Chairperson Tomomi Inada) compiled its recommendations to the government on Nov. 18. It proposes support for Japanese companies’ efforts to win bids, in order to facilitate their entry into the public work and government procurement markets in the TPP nations.

The LDP calls for the following measures to promote infrastructure exports: (1) expediting yen loans procedures; (2) expansion of supply of risk money; and (3) assistance for project development through top-level marketing efforts. (Abridged)
