Nikkei wrote in its political news section on page 4 that the government of Saudi Arabia has informed Japan of its postponement of a planned visit to Japan this week by Foreign Minister Al-Jubeir. Riyadh explained to Tokyo that the minister postponed his planned trip to Japan, China, and South Korea because he has to deal with such issues as the ongoing friction with Iran and the decline in oil prices.
