Monday’s Asahi front-paged the disclosure by several informed sources that the U.S. has pressed China to suspend trade with North Korea, including banning oil exports and DPRK coal imports. According to the sources, the Chinese side has not yet responded to the Obama administration’s request for a trade ban.
