Greenpeace’s “Rainbow Warrior” entered Yokohama Port for the first time on Feb. 9. It is scheduled to sail for Onahama Port, Fukushima Prefecture, at 15:00 on Feb. 12.

According to Greenpeace Japan, the “Rainbow Warrior” will organize an event in waters off Fukushima to “inform people both at home and abroad about the situation in Fukushima, which will soon celebrate the fifth anniversary of the nuclear meltdown.”

Coordination with local concerned organizations and fishermen about the content of the event is underway. (Abridged)
