Nishinippon Shimbun reported this morning that Sara Brown, an American woman working as an assistant language teacher in Kikuchi, Kumamoto, has received a letter of appreciation from Ambassador Kennedy for actively providing information on the Kumamoto earthquakes, including information on shelters and lifelines, in English via social media to foreigners in the prefecture. She expressed hope to continue disseminating information on reconstruction in Kumamoto.
