The special documentary program reported on the Kumamoto earthquakes, saying that as of May 13, more than 56,000 houses had been damaged by the quakes. An increasing number of people are unable to sleep at home or in shelters for fear of another jolt and the risk of mortality associated with the earthquakes is increasing. The program said people’s stress in the disaster-hit area is peaking.
