DPRK remains defiant

All papers reported from Beijing on the conclusion on Thursday of the two-day Northeast Asia Cooperation Dialogue (NEACD), explaining that a North Korean representative echoed the Kim regime’s policy of dismissing the Six-Party Talks and continuing missile and nuclear development on account of the Obama administration’s hostile approach toward it. According to Asahi, U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Policy Kim informally interacted with Choe Son Hui, deputy director for North American affairs at North Korea’s Foreign Ministry, on Wednesday on the margins of the NEACD. In response to a protest from the U.S. official against the latest missile launch, the DPRK diplomat denounced Washington’s “hostility” and underscored her country’s resolve to continue missile and nuclear development.
