Japan, Russia to hold security talks on July 4

Yomiuri wrote that the governments of Japan and Russia agreed on June 30 to hold vice-ministerial security talks on July 4 in Moscow. The GOJ intends to develop trust with Moscow by increasing security transparency in order to pave the way for resolving the Northern Territories issue. MOFA Foreign Policy Bureau Director-General Ishikane will lead the Japanese delegation.
