Tuesday morning’s Asahi reported that arrangements are being made for PM Abe and ROK President Park to hold a summit on the margins of the ASEM conference in Ulaanbaatar next week, speculating that the Japanese side is requesting a bilateral summit to confirm the steady implementation of the comfort women agreement. The two leaders may meet again in September on the sidelines of another international meeting.
