Tokyo ceremony honors JICA personnel killed in Bangladesh

Most papers reportedly briefly that a JICA event was convened yesterday in Tokyo to pay tribute to the seven Japanese nationals who were killed in the Dhaka café attack in early July. PM Abe, FM Kishida, and other officials attended the ceremony. The prime minister told the press afterward: “We must continue to support Bangladesh by taking thorough safety measures [for Japanese nationals] so as to respect the wishes of the victims…. Today I renewed my resolve to continue the war on terrorism.”
