All papers reported on yesterday’s press conference by Prime Minister Abe, during which he explained the goals of the cabinet reshuffle. While calling the expedited implementation of Abenomics a “top priority,” he underscored that the administration will draw up an action plan by March 2017 for employment reform to facilitate “equal pay for equal work” and rectify long working hours. Katsunobu Kato, who was appointed as minister in charge of promoting dynamic engagement of all citizens, will be responsible for this initiative.
