Kishida warns Inada not to visit Yasukuni

NTV reported that Foreign Minister Kishida hinted that Defense Minister Inada should refrain from visiting Yasukuni Shrine on August 15. Noting that Kishida has not paid homage at the shrine on August 15 since he assumed his current post in late 2012, the network said Kishida told reporters this morning that he will refrain from visiting the shrine this year as well. He reportedly said that he has been behaving appropriately as a member of the Abe Cabinet and the Japanese foreign minister, and he expects Inada to do the same.
