The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) plans to host a meeting of political party leaders from the G20 countries and regions on the sidelines of the G20 summit to take place on Oct. 9 and 10. The CCP has invited Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Secretary General Toshihiro Nika to attend the meeting, sources familiar with the LDP disclosed on Aug. 18.

In this regard, Nikai told reporters in Susono City where he was visiting that he “would like to consider it after learning their intention.”
