Saturday morning’s Yomiuri wrote that Okinawa Mayor Kuwae met with a senior MOD official on Friday and expressed his municipality’s readiness to accept a plan to move U.S. military warehouses from the Makiminato Service Area to Kadena Depot in exchange for increased subsidies from the central government.
