Tokyo Shimbun reported on the announcement made yesterday by the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics Agency that two Futenma-based Ospreys will fly into GSDF Camp Kisarazu on Oct. 24 to compare the noise generated by the aircraft with that of the GSDF’s CH-47 helicopter. This will be the first time for the tilt-rotor planes to travel to the city.
