The National Cancer Center announced that it has started clinical tests on the treatment of childhood cancer with Opdivo.

Clinical tests will be conducted on a total of 26 young cancer patients whose tumors have not responded to treatment with two or more anticancer drugs.

Opdivo has been found to be very effective for treatment of several types of cancer in adults. The clinical tests are aimed at studying the appropriate dosage for children and the types of cancer the drug is effective in treating as a step toward obtaining government approval for the use of the medicine.
