The papers noted that Vice President Pence called on Chile, Mexico, Brazil, and Peru to break off their diplomatic ties with North Korea last month. Sunday’s Yomiuri wrote that an increasing number of nations, including Spain and the Philippines, are taking action in response to Washington’s call for severing diplomatic ties or reducing trade with North Korea.
