All papers wrote today that Foreign Minister Kono held talks with Secretary Tillerson and his Indian counterpart in New York on Monday and agreed to urge UN member states to fully enforce relevant Security Council resolutions on North Korea. In the second trilateral foreign ministerial session of its kind, the three officials also affirmed the importance of promoting freedom of navigation and the rule of law with China’s maritime push in the South and East China Seas in mind.
