All deputy CCS, PM’s special advisers reappointed

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe decided to reappoint all three deputy chief cabinet secretaries after he launched his fourth cabinet. House of Representatives member Yasutoshi Nishimura and House of Councillors member Kotaro Nogami will take charge of political affairs, while Kazuhiro Sugita will be responsible for administrative affairs.


Cabinet Legislation Bureau Director General Yusuke Yokobatake and five special advisers to the prime minister were also reappointed.


The five special advisers are LDP Lower House members Kentaro Sonoura and Mitsuhiro Miyakoshi, Upper House member Seiichi Eto, former Cabinet Secretariat adviser Hiroto Izumi, and Eiichi Hasegawa, who will serve concurrently as the cabinet’s public affairs secretary.
