Shop selling Ivanka-brand goods sees rise in popularity

During her three-day trip to Japan from Nov. 2 through 4, Ivanka [Trump] participated in an international conference on women’s empowerment and enhanced goodwill between Japan and the United States by having dinner with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

A shop in Tokyo’s Asakusa district that carries items in Ivanka’s line of fashion wear has seen a rise in its popularity as more and more customers come seeking Ivanka-brand products. Since Ivanka’s trip to Japan, the shop has received inquiries from regional areas as well. The store is almost completely sold out of dresses, coats, and other items in its Ivanka-brand fall/winter collection. The store apparently has very little inventory of her products.

A 31-year-old woman who visited the store said, “I think Ivanka is a beautiful, dignified career woman. The store has very few of her products in stock right now, but I plan to buy some if there are any I like the next time I come.”

Chez Ibisa store proprietor Michiko Tosa said, “I hope that Ivanka continues to have a dynamic career and that she visits Japan again.”
