Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) will relax requirements for issuing multiple entry visas for short-term stays to Indian nationals starting January 2018. “Multiple entry visas” allow for unlimited entry into Japan for a specified period of time. The new requirements will not include the submission of employment certificates or documents explaining the purpose of the visit. Indian nationals who have traveled to Japan more than twice in the past year will be able to obtain a multiple entry visa by just submitting a passport and visa application form.
