PM Abe to visit Europe, Middle East next month

Mainichi reported that Prime Minister Abe plans to visit Belgium, France, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt from July 11 through 18, saying that in Brussels he is expected to sign with the EU leaders a bilateral economic partnership agreement. Abe is also likely to deliver the first-ever speech at a NATO summit by a Japanese leader. In Paris, Abe will hold a summit with French President Macron and sign a bilateral acquisition and cross-servicing accord. The Japanese leader also plans to observe with Macron a Bastille Day military parade in the French capital on July 14.
