Fuji TV reported at noon that Prime Minister Abe will leave for Russia today to attend a regional economic forum in the city of Vladivostok and hold a summit with President Putin there. The network said that during the summit Abe is hoping to make progress in the proposed joint economic activities in the Northern Territories and also exchange views with the Russian leader on North Korea. The network added that Abe is also expected to meet with Chinese President Xi in Vladivostok.
