American Airlines executive expresses desire to increase Haneda-bound flights

Mainichi wrote that when American Airlines Senior Vice President Alison Taylor spoke to reporters in Tokyo, she said her company desires to increase the number of flights connecting U.S. airports to Haneda Airport in Tokyo. Noting that the airline currently operates up to four flights from Narita and one flight from Haneda per day, the paper wrote that the idea of increasing the number of Haneda-bound international flights in 2020 is being discussed. The paper quoted Taylor as saying that the company is hoping to increase the number of Haneda-bound flights as much as possible because its convenience makes it very attractive to business fliers. The paper wrote that the airline executive added that American Airlines is not planning to reduce the number of Narita-bound flights in exchange for additional flights from Haneda.
