NHK reported this morning that the U.S. Naval Safety Center disclosed for the first time that the collision between the Iwakuni-based FA-18 fighter and KC-130 air tanker on Dec. 6 occurred during refueling. It also said that the five service members who remain missing were all members of the KC-130 crew.
