U.S. casino operator plans to open world’s largest integrated resort in Japan

Asahi TV reported this morning that Wynn Resorts Development President Chris Gordon said at a news conference in Tokyo yesterday that his company plans to open the world’s largest integrated resort featuring casinos in Japan, larger even than those in Las Vegas, Singapore, and Macau. He said that Wynn Resorts is planning to invest around 1 trillion yen in an IR in Osaka, Yokohama, or Tokyo with an annual operating cost of 160 billion yen. Asahi TV reported that Osaka is eager to host an IR, while Yokohama and Tokyo are still undecided.
