Gov’t signs memorandum with Mongolia

On April 17 the government signed a memorandum of cooperation regarding “specified skilled workers” with Mongolia. The purpose of the memorandum is to share investigative information for cracking down on malicious brokers. Mongolia is the fifth country to sign a memorandum with Japan.

The government has previously signed memorandums with four countries expected to be major providers of workers: the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Nepal.  It is trying to sign memorandums with four more countries — Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and Thailand.
