On May 4 the Okinawa Police arrested Orlando Widow [sp. ?], a 26-year-old senior airman from the U.S. Air Force’s Kadena Air Base, on the spot on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Law (refusal to be tested for alcohol, etc.). He allegedly refused to take a sobriety test during police questioning on a prefectural road in Kitanakagusuku Village. The suspect denies the charge, saying, “I didn’t drink alcohol.”

He was arrested on suspicion of refusing to take a sobriety test during questioning by police on patrol while turning off National Route 330 onto the road toward Awase near the Rycom intersection in Kitanakagusuku Village around 1:40 a.m. on May 5. He was driving an ordinary passenger car.
