Secretary Pompeo reportedly says U.S. hopes to resume talks with DPRK in “coming weeks”

NHK reported online that at a press briefing on Wednesday Secretary of State Pompeo expressed hope that the United States and the DPRK will resume denuclearization talks. The broadcaster quoted the Secretary as saying that the Trump administration’s strategy for achieving the full, final denuclearization of North Korea has not changed and that the United States hopes to return to the negotiating table in the coming weeks.
