Mainichi reported on Saturday that the government and the ruling parties are making arrangements to convene an extraordinary Diet session from Oct. 4 to early December, in consideration of the diplomatic schedules and the events relating to the Emperor’s enthronement in late October. Prime Minister Abe is also expected to reshuffle the cabinet and the LDP leadership in the first half of September ahead of the Diet session.
