Japanese company invests in U.S. start-up specializing in drone technology

Autonomous Control Systems Laboratory Ltd. (ACSL), an industrial drone developer, will invest $2.8 million in AutoModality, a U.S. drone technology start-up. ACSL aims to enhance the performance of its drones by incorporating the U.S. company’s state-of-the-art flight control technology. ACSL will also join hands with the U.S. company to find new customers.


Established in New York State in 2015, AutoModality specializes in flight control software for drones. (Abridged)
