SEOUL – South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced on Sept. 30 that Japan has granted approval for the export of fluorine polyimide, one of the three semiconductor materials subject to Tokyo’s tightened export controls since July. The two other materials have already been approved for export. Consequently, it has now been confirmed that all three of the materials have been cleared for export.
