Suga says U.S. withdrawal from Paris climate accord is “disappointing”

Yomiuri wrote that Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga commented at a press briefing on Tuesday on the United States’ announcement that it is withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement. The cabinet spokesman reportedly said the U.S. withdrawal is disappointing because climate change is an issue that should be tackled by the entire international community. However, Suga added that Japan will seek ways to work with the United States in dealing with climate change.
