For the survey, a total of 2,000 people were sampled on a stratified two-stage random-sampling basis from among men and women, aged 18 and over across the nation. Valid responses were received from 1,244 people for a valid response rate of 62.2%. Composition: men, 51.6%; women, 48.4%; age 18–29, 9.4%; 30–39, 13.3%; 40–49, 19.8%; 50–59, 16.6%; 60–69, 15.1%; age 70 and over, 25.9%.
