Tokyo, Dec. 3 (Jiji Press)–Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Tuesday that he will visit China on Dec. 23-25.

Abe showed the trip schedule at a meeting between the government and the ruling coalition of his Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito. Abe also said he will take a three-day trip to India from Dec. 15.

In China, Abe will hold three-way talks with leaders of China and South Korea. He may also have bilateral summits with the Chinese and South Korean leaders, according to the prime minister.

An official meeting between Abe and South Korean President Moon Jae-in would be the first since September last year.

Abe said that he hopes to fully discuss future-oriented cooperation among Japan, China and South Korea, and hold candid talks on regional issues, including those related to North Korea, and a host of challenges facing the international community.
