TOKYO — Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will make a three-day visit to Japan from Monday, the Japanese government said Thursday.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will meet and have dinner with Morawiecki on Tuesday, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said.
“We hope to deepen our ties of friendship and cooperation with Poland, which has been playing an increasingly important role within the European Union,” Suga said at a press conference.
Japan and Poland celebrated the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2019.
