NHK reported online that the Immigration Services Agency of Japan announced that following a government ordinance to limit the entry of foreigners who have traveled to Hubei Province or have passports issued there which took effect on Feb. 1, Japan has denied entry to 16 people and 4 people have withdrawn their requests for entry. As a result, a total of 20 people have not been granted entry to Japan.
