A bipartisan parliamentarian league to “take action to protect Japan’s territory” met in the Diet Building on Feb. 7 to discuss Chinese patrol ships’ intrusions into Japanese waters near the Senkaku Islands in Okinawa Prefecture. During the meeting, participants criticized China, saying there is no end to Chinese intrusions into Japanese waters even while Japan is sending supplies to China to help the country combat the outbreak of the new coronavirus. “This is an act of returning evil for good!” said one participant.
