NHK reported online that the Japanese nationals who returned from Wuhan on the first government-chartered flight and are currently quarantined are likely to be allowed to go home as early as Feb. 12 if the results from a virus test to be taken on Feb. 11 are negative. The network said the MHLW extended the quarantine period for the returnees to a maximum of 12.5 days at maximum in accordance with the incubation period of the virus set by the WHO.
