NHK reported on its website on Tuesday evening that four people in Nagoya who tested positive for the new coronavirus had no choice but to recuperate at home because no beds were available at hospitals that can treat such patients in the city. The four are reportedly in stable condition. According to the network, 123 people have tested positive for the virus in Aichi Prefecture, 99 of whom are from Nagoya. The network said that although there are nearly 200 beds for patients infected with the new coronavirus in Aichi, some hospitals are reserving a certain number of beds in case the virus spreads further in the region, according to a source. The network added that this means the number of patients has exceeded the number of beds being made available to patients in  Nagoya since the beginning of this month.
