All national papers reported that Honda has decided to close 12 factories, including ones in the United States, for six days beginning on March 23 in anticipation of reduced demand for new vehicles because of the coronavirus outbreak. Toyota and Nissan also reportedly plan to suspend auto production temporarily worldwide.
