President Trump sends letter to Kim Jong Un

All national dailies wrote on Monday that North Korea’s state-run Korean Central News Agency reported on Sunday on a statement by Kim Yo Jong, the sister of Kim Jong Un, saying that the DPRK leader has received a letter from President Trump. The papers wrote that the statement claimed that the President Trump explained his plan to move forward with improving relations between the United States and the DPRK and expressed his intent to closely cooperate with Kim Jong Un in combating the new coronavirus. Yomiuri wrote that although an unnamed senior USG official acknowledged that the President sent a letter to the DPRK leader, the official refrained from commenting on its content.
