158 nations and regions restricting entry from Japan

Yomiuri wrote that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that as of 6:00 a.m. on Monday, a total of 158 nations and regions had imposed restrictions on entry by travelers from Japan over the coronavirus outbreak. The paper wrote that the number of countries imposing entry bans on Japan has increased mainly in Southeast Asia and Africa and that about 80% of the some 200 countries in the world are now imposing the restrictions on Japan. In addition, 77 other countries and regions have put in place self-quarantining or other measures to restrict the activities of visitors from Japan upon their arrival.
