TV Asahi led with a report that the Nikkei Stock Average temporarily dropped by 900 points today amid fears of the economy stagnating following Governor Koike’s call for residents to stay home this weekend. NTV gave top play to a report on what appears to be a cluster of COVID-19 cases among a choir group in Gifu Prefecture, saying that so far a total of six members have tested positive for the virus.
