The two leaders reportedly confirmed cooperation to bring the COVID-19 pandemic under control quickly. They reportedly welcomed the manufacturing and marketing of COVID-19 diagnostic testing kits by a Russo-Japanese joint venture. They also agreed to continue bilateral peace treaty negotiations.
