U.S. marine in Okinawa arrested for hitting a man

On Sept. 20, the Naha police arrested on the spot a 19-year-old U.S. Marine Corps serviceman stationed at Camp Hansen for hitting a self-employed man, 37, at a club in Matsuyama, Naha City. The suspect denies the charge, saying, “I did not hit the man.” The victim sustained a cut lip and other injuries. 


The allegation is that the suspect assaulted the man by hitting him in the face at a club in Matsuyama, Naha City, at around 4:12 a.m. on Sept. 20.The police, who believe the man was drinking at the club and got into an argument with the man, are conducting an investigation.
